Looks Good For Group Road Ride, Repairs Are Fast Right Now!

It looks like we will have good weather for the group ride.  The weather report says that it will be in the mid 90's though so sunscreen and lots of water. We are also only 2-3 days on standard repairs right now, that could change but that's pretty fast for summer.  See you all soon, thanks.

We have started our tune-up special for the remainder of the season.  Our regular tune-up price is $50.00, we are now offering that same service for a discounted price of $35.00 dollars per bike.  This is a good chance to have your bike tuned up for what is the last 1/3 of the riding season, and one of the nicer times to be on a bike temperature wise.  See you all soon, hope your having a great season.

Tune Up Special Ends February 28th

Just a reminder that the special we have on our basic tune ups will end at the end of February on the 28th.  At this point we are still no farther out then 2-3 business days on taking a bike in and then sending it back out,  but we are starting to see a considerable increase in the amount of work we are doing.  As a generality we will be around 5 business days with your bicycle here during the peek of the season.  Keep this in mind as we enter into the season and you have events/rides that you need to have maintenance done on your bicycle before.  Looking forward to a great year, come on spring.

Tune Up Special Ends February 28th

We currently are running our off season rate of $35.00 dollars on tune ups and have been discounting other labor related activities a little as well.  The discounted rates will be in place until February 28th at which point we will be going back to our regular season rates listed on the website.  Just wanted to drop a quick note so everyone can get their bikes in before we get slammed.

Saturday January 12th, Spin Class and Bike Maintenance Classes

We've been back a couple days and after all the cleaning we're pretty confident it smells less like dust and moth balls in this place.  Thanks for letting us take a little time to clean and take a little break.

This Saturday the 12th of January we have a couple of thing going on.  Our spin classes are starting with a base fitness level test.  The first class with be from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m.. The only thing that is a complication is that the first is full for this Saturday.  In light of this fact it has been decided that we are offering another class at 11:30a.m.-12:30p.m., we have a total of eight spots per class and there are still 7 openings as of this moment.  If you are interested call or send and e-mail as quick as you can because we expect this class will fill as well.  Cost per class is $5.00.

We also have bike maintenance this Saturday.  This class is a continuation of derailleur adjustment focusing on the front derailleur.  After I have finished the discussion on front derailleurs we will review rear derailleur adjustment which we went over before the holidays.  So if you missed last time and still want to learn about rear derailleur adjustment you have a second chance.  Bike maintenance class begins at 9:00a.m. and ends at 10:00a.m. come through the side door located on the north east side of the building.  Just a side note too I have had to adjust the calendar a little so the class schedule has changed.

Saturday the 25th, Maintenance Class, Spin Class

This Saturday in the maintenance class we will be discussing on ride repairs. How to do basic repairs while out and about that will get you home as well as tricks and tips in really bad situations when all you need to do is get home or back to the trail head. Class will begin at 9:00a.m. and run until around 10:00a.m. or whenever we finish if its earlier.

The 10:00a.m. spin class is full however there are still seven spots available in the 11:00a.m. class.

Just a note on our repair situation.  We are still on special but starting to see more and more bikes through the door because that special ends the 29th.  At this moment we have a three day wait but I expect that increases rapidly as the season gets started.  As always thanks, and we are looking forward to a great riding year here at Skyline.
